⚠️ WHAT ARE PREDATOR PEOPLE?

They say a predator doesn’t change and will always seek out its preferred prey.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t just apply to animals.

People can be predators too.

🧠 PEOPLE PREDATORS EXIST IN MANY FORMS

People predators can be both male and female.

They are not always obvious. And they are not always criminal.

In fact, many hide in plain sight.

They can appear as:

  • Relationship predators

  • Influencer or marketing predators

  • Political predators

  • Even parental or social group predators

They blend in — making them harder to recognise.

⚠️ HOW THEY OPERATE

People predators often use:

  • Lying

  • Gaslighting

  • Emotional manipulation

  • Psychological control

Their goal is simple to gain power, control and influence over others.

Some are more dangerous than others…but all cause harm.

🧠 NARCISSISTIC PREDATORS

Narcissistic types are a common form of people predator.

They feed off:

  • Power

  • Control

  • Dominance over others

And this does not only occur in romantic relationships.

🌍 PREDATORS IN SOCIETY

Predatory behaviour can be seen across many areas of life:

🏛️ Politics

Some use manipulation, division and emotional influence to gain control and power.

📱 Influencers

Some manipulate trust to gain followers and promote products they may not even use.

đź’° Marketing & Advertising

Designed to influence behaviour, encourage overconsumption and drive profit.

⚠️ THE IMPACT

All people predators:

  • Have a negative and destructive impact

  • Harm individuals and communities

  • Benefit only themselves

Their actions are always self-serving.

🛡️ WHAT WE CAN DO

We cannot change predators.

But we can change ourselves.

We can:

  • Build awareness

  • Strengthen ourselves

  • Reduce our vulnerabilities

  • Learn to recognise the signs

Especially within personal and romantic relationships.

🌿 A PERSONAL UNDERSTANDING

As a child, I was preyed upon by predator people.

As an adult, I experienced this again in relationships, friendships and social environments.

I understand how easily we can fall into these traps.

And I understand how important it is to:

  • Recognise predator behaviours

  • Understand our own vulnerabilities

  • Strengthen ourselves from within

🌸 OUR APPROACH

At Phoenix Rising Women’s Wholeness Wellness and Wellbeing Centre,we approach this with compassion, understanding and care.

We support women to:

  • Identify vulnerabilities

  • Break free from harmful cycles

✨ OUR FOCUS
